Sparkling Water Sommelier Enters the Mentorship Multiverse (Now on OnlyFans)
Issue No. 53 -- manifestation, mentorship, an offer, and sobriety.
Dear readers—rejoice! A post that is blissfully not about prostates, catheters, or the fragile human condition. We’re back to our regularly scheduled programming: your favorite eclectic, nonsensical, and surreal newsletter from a fifty-something white male, because yes.
And while I’ve got you—cue Kenny G and candlelight—I’m doing something for the very first time: promoting the paid version of this little newsletter that could. That’s right. Half off! A mere handful of dollars. The price of a Starbucks run or half an airport bottle of water.
This is my OnlyFans, people. But for words. Let’s get weird.
Manifesting South Korea
Lately, I’ve been thinking about South Korea more than is probably healthy. The food. The films. The K-dramas. The unrelenting emotional grip of K-pop. The culture feels like it’s been rewiring my brain one Netflix series at a time.
South Korea has mastered the undead, the uncanny, and the beautifully bizarre. Nobody does zombies like they do. Or sci-fi. Or inexplicable, shadowy paranormal energy that leaves you questioning if your neighbor is a monster.
In my head, I’m already there. Wandering the neon streets of Seoul. Catching a Train to Busan (get it?). Breathing in the volcanic air of Jeju Island and pretending I’m in a slow-motion montage scored by BTS.
That’s the post. Just tossing it out into the universe as a bibimbap-fueled manifestation. Let’s make it happen. 치킨이 나를 불러.
Multi-Level Mentorship (MLM)
🎯 Back by luke-warm demand 🎯
I’m opening up a few more spots for Multi-Level Mentorship (MLM)—my 1:1 professional development program, returning for its second round in 2025.
Running from through July and August, this is for those of you feeling a little stuck, a little unseen, or a little unsure of what’s next.
You might be:
Spinning your wheels career-wise
Wondering why working hard hasn’t quite paid off
Or still waiting for a manager who actually invests in you
Been there. Got the branded t-shirt, gray hair and useless company stock options.
This is 1:1 time to help you:
✅ Clarify your next move
✅ Build confidence in your leadership
✅ Strengthen relationships and influence
✅ Feel a bit more like yourself again
No fluff. You’ll get direct, honest conversation with recommendations on how to approach all of these things. And a metaphor or two about your cheese moving or something like that.
📬 Interested? Respond to this email.
We’ll talk details, fit, and yes, price.
2025 is our year, let’s do this thins with clarity, intention, and a some fun.
15 years without alcohol.
I never imagined this sentence would be mine. For years I denied the inner voice implying I should stop. I kept burying it, but these things have a way of surfacing.
Quitting wasn’t loud or dramatic. Just a quiet, firm decision that I had to live differently. More awake. Less numb. More me. Less hungover.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve:
— Given myself the greatest gift possible.
— Realized alcohol wasn’t adding any value to my life.
— Saved thousands of dollars. Avoided jail and hospitals (other than that prostate cancer thing).
— Basically became a sparkling water sommelier.
— Operated with 100% authenticity.
— Helped others exploring sobriety or taking a break.
For anyone celebrating their own Day 1 or Year 50—I see you.
For anyone quietly wondering if life might be better with less (or no) alcohol—trust that whisper.
And for those who support us without judgment—you are golden.
This isn’t about boasting, because it could change at any moment. It’s a note of gratitude. To the people who helped. To the moments that taught. And to the version of me that chose change. I am grateful.
If you’re on your own path with this, or just curious, my inbox is always open. No shame, pressure, or judgement.
Much love.
Consumption:
Everything going inside this pea brain of mine.
Watching:
Summer of 69. Comedy on Hulu that starts off disjointed but gets stronger.
Chef’s Table Legends. Two episodes with Jamie Oliver and José Andrés. Fantastic. (Netflix).
Still watching Mobland on Paramount+.
An American Bombing: The Road to April 19th. This is much more than the Oklahoma City bombing. If you are wondering how we arrived in present day so divided as a country, I recommend you watch this. (Max).
